Vimac has an autoupdater. You can update to v0.2.2 by clicking on the icon in the menu bar and clicking the check for updates button.
1. D and U scrolling
You can now use the D and U keys to scroll down and up by half of the scroll area’s height. Note that the scroll height is calculated only once (when you enter Scroll Mode) so your mouse has to hover over the scroll area before you enter Scroll Mode for D U scrolling to work.
2. Filtering hints by role
There can be an overwhelming number of hints in apps like Finder. You can now choose to show hints for elements of a certain role.
ce r would show only hints for row elements.
You can do unions by using “;” or ” ” (space) as a delimiter:
Here are the filter arguments supported:
- “b”: button elements. This includes checkboxes, because they are sometimes styled like buttons (e.g. Xcode’s hide/show buttons).
- “r”: row elements
- “grp”: group elements
- “dt”: disclosure triangles (those triangles used to expand / hide a list)
- “i”: image elements
- “t”: text elements
- “l”: link elements. Found in PDFs and web content.
